  9.    Laplace is now available  to different CPU types.  To install Laplace,  use

  32.    Although it is still a beta version, I decided to start with a lower  price
  33. than I planned. When Laplace gets some more powerful features (like a function
  34. plotter), this price will increase. But if you register now, you won't have to
  35. pay the difference!! I  will start with 20DM  or US$15. See the  documentation

  42.     Laplace is (or at least should be) an universal tool for  mathematical
  43.     calculations. It lacks such a GUI with hundreds of windows like  those
  44.     other progs I've found on AMIGA.
  45.        Instead it works  like a  shell, you enter  a command  and get  the
  46.     result displayed, which is much more flexible.
  47.        This is just a beta version!!
  48.        There WILL be much  more implemented, but I  need YOUR support  and

  134.         · ß25:  After   logically   splitting   Laplace   into   the
  135.           mathmatical kernel and the graphical interface, these  two
  136.           parts are now physically seperated into two programs  that
  137.           communicate via messages. In theory the kernal can now  be
  138.           compiled for and run on a  PPC while the GUI uses the  68k
  139.           processor. If you  have a  PPC card,  you are  programming
  140.           with the ppc-gcc and you would like to port the kernel  to
  141.           PPC, please contact me!
  142.      · 14.7.1998:
  143.         · ß26:  Bugfix:  derivation  of  constants  (pi,  e)  caused
  144.           Enforcer hit. Reported by Tommy Lindgren.
